Pitch-In Event for Nonprofits

Pitch-in Event for Nonprofits in Forsyth County: Thursday, December 12 @ 6:00pm

In partnership with Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, Venture Cafe Winston-Salem is excited to announce the inaugural “Pitch-in” Event for nonprofits in Forsyth County.

This special pitch competition will allow Forsyth County nonprofits the opportunity to share information about their organization in a 3-minute pitch. There will be a 2-minute Q&A period after each pitch, but organizations will have the opportunity to talk to attendees from 7pm-8pm during a casual holiday celebration with live music, food, and beverages. The event is free and open to the public.

Using mission statements and audiences served as a guide, 10 diverse nonprofits will be chosen to pitch their organization at the December 12th event. Each nonprofit selected will “pitch” their nonprofit in a 3-minute presentation that includes their mission, the people they serve, and the current needs of the nonprofits.

Instead of traditional Venture Capitalists, the audience serves as Changemakers, where they will have the opportunity to volunteer their time to their favorite nonprofit and vote for the nonprofit that wins funds collected from the Venture Cafe tip jar over the next month.

Nonprofits should Apply Here
*Deadline to apply is November 27th.
